WELCOME
In 1981, Elder Richard Howze, Brother Elijah Mclean and Elder Raleigh Stone came together to pray and talk about opening a church. After many meetings a church at 1020 E. Green Dr. was opened. We then were in the Friendship Movement Bishop A. V. Lindsay then named us "Friendship Glorified Holiness Church.
In 1990, the congregation expanded to 1714 Brooks Avenue, and by 2001, through God’s provision, moved into its current home at 820 Leonard Avenue. Under the leadership of Bishop Elsie J. Gaines and later Pastor Thomas E. Marshall, Friendship Holiness Church continued to grow in faith, ministry, and community impact.
Though Pastor Marshall was called home in August 2024, his legacy of faithfulness lives on. Today, we remain committed to spreading the Gospel, walking in love, and building God’s Kingdom. As a church, we stand firm in our calling—“We will not come down from the wall” (Nehemiah 6:3).
To God be the glory for all He has done!
